Florida, Mar 1.- Cuba faces a new electoral scenario presided over by the Constitution of the Republic promulgated on April 10, 2019, which has required the preparation of the entire society, information to our people, and the implementation of the main transformations occurred throughout the country, in correspondence with the schedule of the national elections on March 26.
It is known that in this Antillean archipelago the Communist Party does not postulate, it is the candidacy commissions made up of the mass organizations, chaired by the Central de Trabajadores de Cuba, which are in charge of selecting the candidates for Deputies to the National Assembly of People’s Power in accordance with the provisions of the new Electoral Law.
As part of the national electoral process and a genuine expression of Cuban socialist democracy, the candidates for Deputies to the Cuban Parliament make tours and talk with the population in workplaces, students, and institutions, to learn about the work they do, their concerns and concerns. .
These young people represent continuity in the highest Cuban legislative body by having the commitment to transmit the concerns and being the representatives of all social sectors in their capacity as future deputies.
