Florida, Feb 11.- The directions of the Public Health system at the municipal level and in the two coexisting primary care areas in Florida defend, at the current stage, the momentum achieved since last year in the comprehensive improvement of the Physician Program and the Family Nurse.
Taking as a stimulus the recognition granted by the highest political and governmental and Health authorities of the province, for the results of the task during 2022, the direction of the sector in Florida intends to add, in the new period, almost a dozen stores from the Family Doctor to the structural repair and maintenance plan and the logistical improvement of the facilities.
To do this, they will have an approved budget of more than 800,000 pesos, a figure that will undoubtedly result in better working and living conditions for the doctor and nurse and in a higher quality of service to patients and residents of the community.
The improvement of the Family Medicine Program includes, in addition to the readjustment of health care protocols, the renovation of offices, change of furniture, rehabilitation or access to plumbing networks, Internet connection and fixed or cellular telephony, among other purposes proposed by the Public Health system and the Cuban Government.
