Public Health recognizes institutional support in the battle against infectious diseases

Florida, Jan 17.- The municipal director of Public Health in Florida, Doctor Nelson del Sol Serrallonga, thanked the rest of the economic and social sectors of the territory for their support in the battle against infectious diseases, especially in the fight against Dengue and COVID-19.

Also a Deputy to the National Assembly of People’s Power, signified the support of the presidents of the 11 popular councils, the coordination of the Committees for the Defense of the Revolution, the doctors at the base and the Federation of Cuban Women, together with the highest authorities of the municipality, which allowed the effective implementation of various strategies to combat the threat of scourges such as dengue and coronavirus.

«Only in the unit is the secret of victory» highlighted the highest representative of the Army of White Coats of Florida, who, however, said he also knew how much effort, discipline and prevention are needed to achieve the greatest possible health stability in 2023 .

The municipal director of Public Health in Florida called for trust in the intersectoral effort and in the capabilities of the territory’s surveillance and medical assistance system, in the face of the threat of arboviral diseases and illnesses caused by the Aedes aegypty mosquito or any other transmitting agent of diseases.
