Florida, Dec 17.- The program to care for vulnerable neighborhoods and communities in Florida needs to strengthen its economy to pay for works and activities, and greater integrity and systematize community social work, in order to guarantee greater protection for families in disadvantage and eradicate more problems that affect the collective well-being.
In addition to increasing the possibilities of financing for the delivery of resources and monetary benefits to families in social and economic disadvantage, it is necessary to encourage the incorporation into work of single mothers with three or more children, and of other people who are also in a situation of vulnerability.
In this sense, it is essential to achieve transformations at the community level that provide the most vulnerable families with knowledge and skills to cover their basic needs and build their own home well-being without financial dependence on state Social Assistance.
In addition to more production of goods and services to improve the economy, in the Florida municipality it is necessary to further promote and improve social work to attend to the psychological, cognitive and spiritual needs of families in vulnerable situations.
