Florida, Nov 30.- The Flu Vaccination Campaign concluded with more than 98 percent execution, which benefited the different risk groups identified in the municipality of Florida.
On this occasion, pregnant women, men and women over 85 years of age, the elderly who live in the Grandparents’ House and in nursing homes in the territory were immunized, as well as diabetic patients, asthmatics, Public Health workers, of poultry and pig farms.
Reinaldo Morín Báez, head of the Immunization Program at the Municipal Hygiene and Epidemiology Center, reported that, as a preventive measure, every year the risk groups most likely to acquire seasonal influenza are vaccinated.
