Florida, Oct 31.- More than 100 patients are treated every day by the specialists of the Rehabilitation Room of the North Area of the municipality of Florida, with different physiotherapy treatments and other modern techniques included in the services provided in that facility of the System of local Public Health.
Among the main services offered by the professionals of this health center are Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation, acupuncture, Podiatry, Speech Therapy in search of improving language disorders, in addition to Dietetic and Anti-smoking Counseling.
The two Rehabilitation Rooms in the municipality of Florida are part of Primary Health Care as part of the Battle of Ideas program that aims to expand and bring the services of the sector closer to the community, to improve the quality of life of patients .
Sobeida Quiñones Montero, administrative assistant of the North Rehabilitation Room in the territory, highlighted that despite the difficulties and material shortages imposed by the Economic, Financial and Commercial Blockade of the United States government against Cuba, most of the services remain registered. and open consultations in that health unit.
