Food production is checked in Florida at Octavio Aragón Cooperative

Florida, Oct 31.- The check on food production in the Agricultural System of the municipality of Florida, arrived this week at the farms of several advanced farmers linked to the Credit and Service Cooperative (CCS) Octavio Aragón Quiroz in the Council Popular Conquest located to the (South), which assume important commitments in the current dairy campaign as well as planting and harvesting various crops.

The review carried out by members of the Communist Party of Cuba (PCC) in its Agri-food sphere and members of the local government, included a visit to the farms of peasants Edy Gutiérrez Cabrera, who collects nearly 30,000 liters of milk collected to date with 27 milking cows and that of the avant-garde producer Orosman Acuña Bosa, whose daily delivery to the Dairy Industry exceeds 250 liters of that food.

The control tour was extended to the performance of farmers Ángel Abreu Gutiérrez and Dorge La Rosa Ramos, responsible for providing a considerable volume of root vegetables and vegetables from the development of almost 25 hectares of various crops on the outskirts of the rural community of The Angel in the demarcation of Conquest.

During the aforementioned exchange with advanced producers in the «Octavio Aragón Quiroz» of the municipality, the officials of the PCC and Agriculture, together with the highest leadership of the peasants of the territory, appreciated the willingness of each one of them to advance without giving up on search for superior results in the midst of the difficulties and shortcomings of the current stage.
