Florida, Oct 14.- The peasant sector of the municipality of Florida advances in the Process of Balance, Renewal and/or Ratification of the mandate of its boards of directors as part of the national program promoted here by the municipal directorate of Agriculture and planned to be developed in all cooperatives in the agricultural branch.
The information offered by the highest peasant leadership of the territory highlighted that this type of meeting, where all the associates participate in each of the base units, began on their land since last October 7, with the first assembly held by the farmers of the Credit and Services Cooperative (CCS) Saturnino Aneiro Abella.
Four other rural entities in Florida, including the CCS Carlos Días Cervantes, Octavo Aragón and Antonio Briones Montoto, together with the Antonio Briones Agricultural Production Cooperative, have joined, to date, in the execution of this process which, in addition to analyzing the results of the work in recent years and approve new lines of action, including the renewal or ratification of the boards of directors.
To the analysis of the productive results and the work carried out by the administrations in the Floridian cooperatives belonging to the National Association of Small Farmers, criteria, concerns and disagreements of the farmers related to the payment of the collected milk, the monthly discounts for non-compliance of delivery plans to the Dairy Industry and the importance of promoting farms for collective use.
The schedule of balance assemblies launched in the cooperatives of the agricultural sector of the municipality plans to complete this analysis in the 29 productive bases of the local peasant sphere.
