Florida, Sep 14.- The members of the Union of Young Communists (UJC) in the municipality of Florida celebrate the 62nd birthday of the Committees for the Defense of the Revolution (CDR), with the participation in various activities to honor the largest organization of the country’s masses.
Along with different initiatives to celebrate next September 28, last weekend, the young people carried out productive work in the community of Otero, where they collaborated with the planting of sweet potatoes in the areas served by a farmer from that demarcation, in the first productive day of others that will arrive with the purpose of contributing to food production.
The schedule of activities foresees for Saturday the 17th a bicycle ride that will depart from the CDR headquarters to the Ñico López Recreational Complex, with the participation of members of the student organizations and representatives of the youth universe of the different social sectors of the territory.
In salute to the 62nd anniversary of the CDR’s constitution, on September 28, 1960, young Floridians organize recreational, productive and social activities, which include celebrations in the communities that stand out most in the work of the organization than in blocks and neighborhoods carry out important actions of popular benefit.
