Floridian farmers determined to advance food production

Florida, Aug 29.- In the midst of current limitations, the majority of farmers in the municipality of Florida continue to show that it is possible to advance in food production, based on seeking and finding alternatives to economic difficulties and the lack of resources.

This is confirmed here by the members of the credit and services cooperative (CCS) Rolando Valdivia Fernández, where they maintain the fulfillment of fundamental orders such as the sale of milk and cheese to the industry and the delivery of meat, among other lines of the agricultural field.

According to what was stated by Yadira Arrocha Bermúdez, president of the aforementioned agrarian base, every day they face challenges such as the transportation of dairy products and the lack of inputs for the manufacture of cheese, but intelligence, the will and commitment to the people.

The main representative of the group in the CCS, Rolando Valdivia of Florida, recognized the effort and conscious support of its farmers and pointed out that as a rule they never expect the blow of problems, they anticipate them with a positive vision, which allows dawn every day with duty fulfilled.

The First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Party and President of the Republic of Cuba, Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez, insisted more than once on the strategic importance of advancing in food production based on creative resistance and the application of science and technology as main elements to achieve success in the missions of the current stage.
