Florida, Aug 3.- The agro-industrialists of the Ignacio Agramonte sugar mill in the municipality of Florida face the challenge of manufacturing more than 43 thousand tons of refined sugar in the current 2022 campaign, a commitment that demands effort, a sense of belonging and the will to win on the part of of the aforementioned group.

To date, around 11,500 tons of white grain have materialized to materialize the commitment to guarantee the family basket destined for the provinces of the eastern center of the country and other western regions if necessary.

Undoubtedly, and according to the experts’ opinion, the current electro-energetic contingency has an impact on the normal functioning of the sugar refining process, especially if unforeseen power outages occur during the start-up stage and electrical self-generation of the industry, which which forces us to maximize efficiency and overcome daily obstacles.

However, the confidence of the leadership of the Cuban Government and the Azcuba business group in the productive possibilities of the refinery of the Empresa Agroindustrial Azucarera Ignacio Agramonte, in the municipality of Florida, constitutes an incentive to advance steadily and with an eye on the 43 thousand tons planned to be produced in the current campaign.

Undoubtedly, winning this battle fundamentally depends on the unity of the workers around their administrative leadership, on the collective commitment to the needs of the country, and on the unconditional defense of each pound of sugar deposited in the warehouses of the entity.
