Florida, August 11 – The municipality of Florida joined the National Exercise to Visit all state and non-state economic actors in the territory with the objective of updating them on the current legal framework and the new reforms approved by the Cuban government.
According to reports from Party and local government authorities, this new exchange, which will run from August 1 to September 15, does not seek to limit any legally recognized commercial activity, but rather to guarantee compliance with legal, banking, tax, price formation, and other obligations in accordance with current regulations.
It was also announced that exchanges will be carried out with different economic actors and production entities in each of the defense zones of the municipality of Florida, to raise awareness of the need to maintain order and prudence in the marketing of essential goods, as well as respect for the people amidst the country’s complex economic situation.
Comprised of several working teams, the National Exercise of Visiting the more than 1600 state and non-state economic actors, MSMEs, Local Development Projects and others in the Florida region, is aligned with the response to the demands of the population to put a stop to distortions in issues such as banking and abusive prices.
