Ignacio Agramonte Cup concluded with favorable results for Florida students

Florida, April 27 – Seven students who completed twelfth grade at the República Bolivariana de Venezuela and Rolando Valdivia Pre-University Schools in the municipality of Florida gained direct admission to higher education after winning the fourth edition of the Ignacio Agramonte Loynaz Cup 2026.

The most sought-after majors are Architecture, Accounting and Finance, Foreign Languages, Psychology, History, Law, and Computer, Civil, and Chemical Engineering.

Dora Cárdenas Ramill, Master of Science and Director of the Municipal University Center, congratulated the students and teachers of the two pre-university schools in the area for their achievements in this academic event and for their work preparing talented students.

The fourth Ignacio Agramonte Loynaz Cup 2026, organized by the University of Camagüey, in conjunction with the Provincial Directorate of Education of the territory and which this year was developed in the municipalities due to the energy situation in the country, concluded with positive results with the incorporation of seven students from the Florida pre-university directly into Higher Education.
