Florida, April 24 – Educational institutions in the municipality of Florida commemorated Language Day this Thursday with a day dedicated to promoting a love for language and literature.
The celebration had the active support of school librarians and Spanish and Literature teachers, who organized various activities to instill in students the value of correct and creative communication.
Among the highlights were book presentations, guided readings of Don Quixote, literary contests, and talks on the proper use of language, which allowed students to engage with classic works in a dynamic and reflective way.
One of the central themes of the day was the promotion of reading habits, considered by librarians and teachers to be a fundamental tool for learning and critical thinking.
