Florida, 8 Sep.- The Florida Board of Directors approved a special recognition for the Culture sector and other entities, agencies, organizations and socio-economic actors that made possible the implementation of the Summer 2025 Activities Plan, planned for the months of July and August.
According to the summary presented by the Municipal Directorate of Culture, under the motto Summer always young, in the stage referred to materialized more than nine thousand general recreational proposals in different scenarios of the territory, where the fundamental premises to be defended were the quality of the supply and the creation of leisure spaces for all ages during the summer season.
The report evaluated by the Plenary of the Executive Body of the Local Government highlighted the priority for the implementation of activities that led to the acquisition of new knowledge, the spiritual enjoyment of the people and the approach to popular traditions, patriotic and revolutionary of each community.
The sending of artistic brigades to more than twenty peasant, agriculturel and sugar-cane settlements in the territory was also highlighted, as well as other actions of solace and recreation for the new generations and people in general.
The congratulations and recognition issued by the Florida Board of Directors to the organizers, protagonists and promoters of the Summer Plan in this municipality highlighted, above all, the effort and delivery of institutions such as the Sports Sector, Education, Radio Florida, the Amateur Artists’ Movement, professionals and cultural units, which have overcome formidable constraints and challenges to meet a significant part of the recreational demands in the holiday period.
