Florida, April 4 – The Rolando Valdivia Pre-University Institute, in Florida, hosted the municipal act of commemoration for the 64th anniversary of the José Martí Pioneers Organization (OPJM) and the 63rd anniversary of the Young Communist League (UJC), central activity for the anniversaries which was attended by Liliana Boudet Nápoles, first secretary of the Party in the territory.
On this occasion 51 high school students received the card that makes them members of the vanguard youth organization, in the act that also counted with the presence of Junior Juan Vega Rivero, director of Education in Florida, together with other officials of the Party and of the UJC of the territory.
The celebration, where the Cuban spirit and the defense of the roots of the national culture prevailed, had artistic accompaniment of the José Martí Art Instructors Brigade, the Opening Gaps Project of the Hermanos Saíz Association and the group Los Seis del Son.
The celebration was also attended by students from the Tania la Guerrillera elementary school, and was the stage for recognizing the guides of the pioneer organization with the best results in their educational work, winners of contests and outstanding students from different educational levels.
