Florida, Mar. 13.- The leadership of the Communist Party of Cuba in the municipality of Florida called on the representatives of the local dairy industry to also defend the dairy plans, from the demand for the fulfillment of what has been agreed with the entities and producers at the base.
“It is not only to denounce in meetings the problems that affect the delivery of milk and blame the other; it is about getting involved in the solution, visiting the cooperatives and going down to the farms where there are greater debts in the milking to demand answers to the promised word”.
This was denounced by Liliana Boudet Nápoles, first secretary of the highest political organization of the municipality, in direct reference to the directors of the Unidad Empresarial de Base Productos Lácteos de Florida during the annual balance meeting on the Local Programs of Food Sovereignty and Security.
In this meeting, the failures that caused the deficit of more than one million liters of milk in the productive results of 2024 were analyzed, and which are currently straining the collection and distribution of the referred foodstuff.
“If the Party and the Government of Florida increase every day the tours and the man-to-man exchange in the management and call to multiply the milk collection, how is it possible that the main people responsible for the task do not worry about doing much more, that is, above all, an unavoidable obligation of the Dairy Company”, the leader of the political organization in the land of Florida summarized firmly.
