Tribute to Health Workers Day began in Florida (+ Audio)

Florida, Nov. 13 – In recognition of the results of their work, the collective of the Manuel Piti Fajardo Rivero Hospital, in Florida, won the venue of the municipal act of beginning of the day of homage to the health workers, carried out in coincidence with the 94th anniversary of the birth of the martyr of the sector.

On the occasion, Ms. Yaneisy Alcántara, representing the Central de Trabajadores de Cuba of the territory, awarded four members of the health union the Manuel Piti Fajardo Distinction, for their exemplary conduct, dedication to work, professionalism, ethics, responsibility and seriousness in their performance in more than 20 years of uninterrupted work.

Among the professionals honored were nurse Alexis Viltres Rosabal; stomatologist Lino Fleites Cedrés; integral paramedic Luis Díaz Delgado; and pediatric hospital administrator Tomás Sánchez Acea.
