Florida, Oct. 9 – The Ignacio Agramonte Loynaz sugar cane mill in the municipality of Florida was the venue of the provincial ceremony for the beginning of the Day of the Innovator 2024, in recognition of the work carried out by its collective and in salute to the 48th anniversary of the creation of the National Association of Innovators and Rationalizers (ANIR).
During the ceremony, and at the proposal of the provincial authority, the October 8th Condition was given to several innovators of the center, among them Reynaldo Tamayo Roque, Jorge Hernández Ávila, Carlos Alberto del Sol Sarrallonga and Ángel Abreu Díaz, as a reward for their outstanding trajectory in the recovery of pieces and parts in deficit in the country.
José Clemo Vidal was also awarded with La Estrella de El Mayor for his performance in the industry and in the recovery of spare parts that are essential for the normal operation of his work center.
Osmany Ramírez Perna, President of the National Association of Innovators and Rationalizers in the province of Camagüey and member of the National Secretariat of the Central de Trabajadores de Cuba (CTC), valued the work of the group of technicians and mechanics of the Ignacio Agramonte Loynaz Agroindustrial Sugar Company, who, faced with the impact of the economic blockade imposed by the United States, provide solutions to the problems of the factory and the repair of equipments.
