Florida, Aug. 28 – In the municipality of Florida, preparations are being made for the First Process of Accountability of the delegates to their electors during the current term of office, and the development of a schedule of a total of 268 community assemblies between September 20 and November 15 is foreseen here.
One of the most important aspects of this democratic and participatory process is the training of the district leaders, who for the first time will give an account of their performance to those who elected them, and who will be in charge of calling for the participation of the people and the organization and development of the community assemblies.
On this occasion, 38 Floridian delegates will lead this type of assembly process for the first time in their district, a figure that represents 47.5 percent of the members of the Municipal Assembly of People’s Power.
This territory ratifies the need to strengthen the preparation of the delegates of the People’s Power with respect to the official reception, classification, treatment and management of the solution of the population’s proposals with the corresponding administrative entities, on the eve of the first Accountability Process to be carried out soon.
