Floridian volleyball player hired to play in professional league in Romania (+Post)

Florida, Aug. 17 – Adrian Chirino Callam from Florida was hired by the Romanian club Stiinta Explorari for the 2024-2025 season, that will be his first experience in a professional volleyball circuit.

Before traveling to Romania, the 22-year-old passer, who is 1.95 meters tall, will be part of the second Cuban senior men’s national team that will compete in the Final Six Tournament of the North, Central American and Caribbean Volleyball Confederation (NORCECA), to be held in the Canadian city of Gatineau, Quebec, from the 20th to the 25th of this month.

Chirino is very excited with this professional contract, which gives him the opportunity to play more and at a good level to optimize his athletic form, also from the possibility of adding new knowledge and experiences in his interaction with coaches and athletes in Europe, where the practice of volleyball is elite.

The young Floridian passer also values the possibility that this Romanian league offers him to show internationally his qualities for the sport of the high net.
