Florida, 9 Jul.- Literature and plastic arts created by Floridian women were awarded during the XII edition of the Cuban Soneto National Contest held in recent days in the municipality of Taguasco, in the province of Sancti Spíritus.
The writer Elena María Obregón Navarro won the second prize in the event for the sonnet Confinados and the plastic artist Arasay Cruz Reyes, reached the first place for the illustration to the work of her fellow artist.
