Florida, Jul. 8 – A new batch of almost 900 articles of personal use will be distributed free of charge through the Florida Prevention, Attention and Social Assistance Program to families in a situation of economic vulnerability in this municipality.
The delivery, valued at more than two million seven hundred thousand pesos, includes this time sponge mattresses, camera sheets and towels.
Approved by the Administration Council, at the proposal of the Municipal Labor Department, in coordination with the Public Health and Foreign Trade agencies, this distribution of goods is intended to benefit 213 groups of more than 400 people.
The new resources to be delivered by Social Assistance in the territory are aimed at improving the quality of life of mothers with three or more children, elderly people living alone, bedridden, prostrate or disabled people, oncology patients and other critical cases distributed in the 11 Popular Councils of the municipality.
