Florida, May 18 – Under the slogan May in Prevention for Health, a provincial event was held in Florida for the World Day for the Prevention of Arterial Hypertension.
During the activity, the work teams of the 26th Family Doctor’s office, belonging to the Doctor José Fernández Gil Polyclinic, and the 17th office of the Concepción Agramonte Bouza Polyclinic received awards.
Likewise, diplomas of recognition were given to Eloy Paz Leal, Yosvany Rodríguez Mora and Álvaro Yacxel Lescaille, and to local entities such as the Municipal Culture, the Hermanos Sáiz Association and the Sports Sector for their support and participation in all the programmed activities.
Arterial hypertension is a chronic condition characterized by a continuous increase in blood pressure, which causes an increase in the risk of cardiovascular diseases.
