Florida, May 11 – With the presence of Teresa Amarelle Boué, secretary general of the Federation of Cuban Women (FMC) and member of the Council of State of the Republic of Cuba, and a group of Floridians, an exchange of experiences on the community work of the organization that brings together the women of the country ,took place.
During the exchange, the women presented the experiences of the work carried out in their area of work, taking into account the objectives set forth in the 11th Congress of the FMC.
The women’s initiatives were evidenced by the presentation of banners, dramatizations, and the recounting of the experiences lived in their respective communities.
Teresa Amarelle Boué, secretary general of the Federation of Cuban Women, called on the grassroots leaders in Florida to work from the blocks and neighborhoods in the insertion of young women into the organization, and to achieve greater attention to women in each community.
