Scientific event held at Manuel Piti Fajardo Hospital of Florida (+Post)

Florida, May 11 – A total of 10 research studies that contribute to the problem bank of the Manuel Piti Fajardo Municipal Hospital, in the municipality of Florida, were presented at the scientific event of this health institution, held in celebration of the upcoming World Nursing Day.

The behavior of puerperal mastitis during the year 2023; the prevalence of acute myocardial infarction in the Intensive Care Unit; and vaginal infections in pregnant women hospitalized in the gyneco-obstetrics service were among the most relevant topics evaluated at the Nursing Scientific Day and Science and Technique Forum of the Municipal Hospital.

The event also focused on the clinical behavior of Microprostol abortions from January 2024 to date, and on the incidence of stab wounds in the Emergency Department of the main medical assistance unit of the Floridian territory.

The jury of the forum, made up of Ana Luisa Sáez Brown, Doctor of Pediatrics and Master of Science, along with Mayelín Suárez Loyola, Bachelor of Nursing, and Héctor de La Torre Díaz, specialist and researcher, emphasized that the meeting became a space for scientific exchange and socialization of high-impact results.

The Nursing Scientific Conference and Science and Technique Forum of the Manuel Piti Fajardo Municipal Hospital of Florida undoubtedly contributes to the efficiency and quality of the work and to the protection of the life and health of the patients who come to this clinical, surgical, maternal and teaching institution.
