Florida, April 22.- The farmers associated with the Amparo Carriera Montes Credit and Services Cooperative (CCS), of the municipality of Florida, supported the commitment to continue giving successes and productive results to the entity, as demonstrated by the fulfillment of the collection of meat and various crops in the current stage.
This was confirmed by María Elena Cortiña Álvarez, on behalf of the aforementioned group, after being ratified as president of the Board of Directors of the CCS, at the conclusion of the electoral process there to strengthen the structures of the peasant leadership in the agrarian bases of the sector. .
With 99 percent of the votes in their favor, María Elena and the other members of the newly elected executive body assumed the task of working to eliminate delays in dairy production, conclude the infrastructure works of the entity in greeting to the 17 of May, maintain operating indicators, and multiply attention to each of the associates, objectives that will materialize with the unconditional support of the ranchers and planters that make up the group.
The Assembly for Strengthening, Renewal and/or Ratification of the Mandate of the Board of Directors held at the Amparo Carriera Montes Credit and Services Cooperative, in Florida, was attended by leaders of the Communist Party and the leadership of the peasant organization in this municipality.
