Florida, April 18 – The awards to workers, directors and founders of the Communist Party of Cuba in Florida took place at the headquarters of that organization in the territory, where they were summoned to remain firm in the leadership of the ranks of the Cuban revolutionary vanguard.
During the political-cultural meeting, awards were given to comrades with more than five, 10 and 25 years of active permanence in the party ranks, in fulfillment of key missions for the functioning and internal life of the organization.
The celebration for the 63rd anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Cuba was attended by representatives of the Government and the rest of the social organizations of the municipality, accompanied by the combatants of Playa Giron.
At the conclusion of the event, Liliana Boudet Nápoles, first secretary of the Municipal Committee of the communist group in Florida, congratulated the indivisible unity between the veterans and the new generations with the tasks of the party leadership; she called to defend Fidel’s example in the territory and called to multiply today, more than ever, the actions in support of the Cuban Revolution.
