Florida, April 13 – More than nine hectares planted with cassava in excellent development and lands in preparation for the promotion of plantain and other crops find space in the Agricultural Production Cooperative (CPA) Mártires de Granada, in the municipality of Florida, in a frontal battle against drought and fuel shortage.
This was confirmed by authorities of the Communist Party and the Government of the territory during the control tour carried out in the mentioned productive base, whose president, Oscar Gutiérrez Blanco, commented on the interest of advancing in the sowing of various crops and the cutting of sugar cane, tasks limited there for the reasons previously mentioned.
In the CPA Mártires de Granada itself, the supervisory commission talked with the cattle producer Yoandrys Noy Gutiérrez, a usufructuary who has so far overfulfilled the milk delivery plan to the industry, with more than 500 liters of milk delivered more than expected.
Noy Gutiérrez expressed his satisfaction with the new prices established by the State for the purchase of milk from the cowboys, in correspondence with the quality of the product, a measure recently approved and which rewards the response and responsibility of the milkers to the food needs of the country.
