Florida, April 6 – The Dairy Combine of the municipality of Florida is putting into practice all possible variants to increase the collection of milk for the industry, and to achieve this it requires greater support, organization and control by the different organizations and grassroots entities of the local agricultural and livestock sector.
The systematic work to avoid debts with producers is today the most important effort of this industry; however, maintaining success in this indicator requires increasing the respect of farmers for the conciliations with the statistics department of the Combinado Lácteo.
Extending the scope of transportation and collection routes is another of the measures implemented to increase the delivery of fresh milk in the territory, as evidenced by recent actions implemented in the Basic Production Unit Cooperative El Vaquerito, and in the itineraries of the areas of Algarrobo and Las Tusas.
According to the information provided by the directors of the Florida Dairy Combine, the fulfillment of the monthly and daily plans in the milk collection are also due to the contribution of the volumes of cheese contracted with the productive base and the daily demand on these issues in the cooperatives and other agencies of the agri-food and sugar area of the municipality.
