Florida, April 3 – Roberto Alejandro Carrazana, deputy to the Cuban Parliament for the municipality of Florida, is one of the 100 people invited to participate in the XII Congress of the Young Communist League (UJC), which takes place from April 2 to April 4, date on which the 62nd anniversary of the constitution of that political organization is commemorated.
The representative of the Floridian people in the National Assembly of People’s Power feels honored with the possibility of being present at the Congress of the Cuban Communist Youth, where one of the topics to be evaluated will be the advances in the implementation of the policy for the integral attention of children, adolescents and youths.
Roberto Carrazana participated during the past year in the process of discussion and approval of this policy, which was evaluated as a national security issue to consolidate the social project of the Cuban Revolution regarding issues related to the advancement of women, the fight against racial discrimination and the attention to rural areas.
Deputy Roberto Alejandro Carrazana, 25 years old and recently graduated from the University of Medical Sciences of Camagüey, is the third representative of the Floridian people in the XII Congress of the UJC, since Dariel Sosa Cuello, deputy director of the Argentine Agroindustrial Sugar Company, and José Agustín Clemo Cardona, official of the provincial committee of the youth organization, are also part of the Camagüey delegation to this assembly as delegates.
