Florida, February 28.- The community of Playa Florida is the main focus of attention of Task Life in this municipality, due to its high degree of vulnerability to the rise in sea level, a phenomenon that is increasingly palpable on the southern Cuban coast.
For this reason, the Florida coast is one of the intervention sites of the Mi Costa Project, an initiative with international financing, aimed at strengthening resilience against climate change, according to master Isabel Márquez Ulloa, representative of the Ministry of Science, Technology and Environment in Florida, in the report of journalist Yunier Soler Castellanos.
