Florida, January 26.- The verses recited by Jorge Arturo Nazco Casal, a first grade student at the José Antonio Echeverría elementary school, dedicated to the International Day of Education and the 171st anniversary of the birth of José Martí, marked the opening of the Workshop of Communication and Social Networks developed in Florida.
Based at the Center for Documentation and Pedagogical Information (CDIP), the activity was directed by Dayamí Galeano Parada, head of communication at the provincial directorate of Education in Camagüey, and had the participation of communicators from educational institutions in the territory.
The central theme of the meeting was the exchange related to the impact of social networks, the generation of content on virtual platforms and the improvement of all those linked to the work of communications in the educational sector.
Galeano Parada spoke with the workshop participants about manipulation on social networks, subversive pages, fake news and the media war through different virtual platforms.
