Florida, January 26.- Directors of the National Office of Tax Administration (ONAT) in Florida gave a Preparation Seminar to representatives of MSMEs and Local Development Projects about Resolution number 306 that establishes feudatory regulations, financial and price policies of micro, small and medium-sized enterprises.
Imilsis García, director of the ONAT in the municipality of Florida, reported that MSME workers must pay the special contribution to social security, taxes on profits that are 35 percent, the territorial tax for Local Development of one percent of total income, as well as other taxes, according to current legislation.
The directive also explained that the representatives of micro, small and medium-sized companies that begin their activity are exempt from paying certain taxes in the month in which they are registered in the Taxpayer Registry and that these rules will apply from the 1st February of this 2024.
During the Preparation Seminar for representatives of new ventures and Local Development Projects about the new Resolution number 306 that establishes tax, financial and price regulations for micro, small and medium-sized businesses, young people were invited of these groups to join the ranks of the country’s political organizations.
