Florida Agrometeorological Station launched new technology with the cold front

Florida, Jan 24.- The 12th cold front of the current winter season has been felt in the municipality of Florida since Sunday, imposing somewhat atypical days in climatological terms, but ideal for testing the operation of the new technology recently installed in the Local Agrometeorological Station.

This was assessed by Mr. Ibrianni Arredondo Arencibia, a specialist at this institution, when referring to the potential and good functioning of the sensors installed in the measuring instruments of the aforementioned station to automate their records and monitor in real time and with greater frequency the behavior of climate variables.

According to the specialists at the Florida Agrometeorological Station, the new equipment installed to automate measurements will allow new and better forecasting services to be developed in less time that contribute to the agricultural system and other local development projects in the territory.
