Florida, Jan 5.- Committed to increasing surveillance and action against crime, illegalities and social indiscipline, officers and combatants of the National Revolutionary Police (PNR), in Florida, commemorated this Thursday the 65th anniversary of that force of internal order.
In this commemorative act, Captain Javier Poll López and First Lieutenant Yosvany Bringuez Villegas were recognized, who received the Medal for Distinguished Service from the highest authorities of the Communist Party and the Government in the Florida territory.
As is traditional, amateur artists from the House of Culture also appeared in the municipal unit of the PNR, to express with song and poetry the general recognition of the men and women who make up the National Revolutionary Police in Florida, the force of internal order. in Cuba that was created on January 5, 1959.
In the commemoration of this historic date there was a special moment to remember Commander in Chief Fidel Castro Ruz when he expressed that “the official who has the greatest consideration, appreciation and social respect should be the police officer, because he works on the very first line, colliding with criminals and insolent people on the street, for which energy, health, conscience, courage and dignity are needed.”
