Prosalud specialists develop training actions and rapid tests

Florida, Dec. 28.- With the motto Begin now, the educators who attend the Sexually Transmitted Infections, Human Immunodeficiency Virus and AIDS (ITS-HIV-AIDS) and Prosalud program at the Municipal Center for Hygiene, Epidemiology and Bacteriology, in the municipality of Florida, carries out a day of activities in search of the serological status of the general population.

Niubis Mesa Varona, educator at that health institution, reported that the action plan includes educational talks in workplaces and in the community, as well as the execution of rapid tests on risk groups and the general population.

Also every Thursday, during class, she exchanges with students from different schools in the territory to inform them about the causes and consequences of HIV-AIDS and preventive measures.
