Florida, December 1.- The 15 delegates who will represent the municipality of Florida to the Provincial Assembly XI Congress of the Federation of Cuban Women (FMC) were flag-bearers in the José Martí Central Park of the territory.
During the flag ceremony, a wreath was placed at the bust of the National Hero José Martí and the youngest member Beatriz Rabaza Carlos highlighted the work of the more than 28 thousand women that the municipality has, an army of women «Vencedoras de Imposibles» ».
At the meeting, Yodelkis Fajardo, General Secretary of the FMC in the province of Camagüey, presented the XI Congress flag to Rita Viltres Ríos, general secretary of the women’s organization in the town.
The XI Congress of the FMC will be aimed at promoting the protagonism of women and updating strategies for the eradication of gender violence in all its expressions.
