Assembly process of the Federation of Cuban Women concluded in Florida

Florida, Aug 31.- The municipal leadership of the Federation of Cuban Women (FMC) in Florida concluded with the development of the 494 assemblies of the 11th Congress at the level of delegations and blocks, as reported by Rita Viltres Ríos, general secretary of the organization.

The leader valued the meetings as positive because they showed the participation, enthusiasm and initiatives of Floridian women in this process prior to the great event of the country’s female force.

During the exchanges, the 150 members who will participate in the municipal assembly of the 11th Congress of the Federation of Cuban Women to be held on September 9 at the Luis Casas Romero House of Culture in the municipality of Florida were selected.

The female leader explained that the one in Florida will be the first municipal assembly of the 11th Congress to be held in the province of Camagüey, for which reason the general secretaries of all municipalities are expected to attend.
