Florida, Aug 17.- With the new increase in the purchase price of recyclable metal and plastic objects implemented by the Base Business Unit (UEB) Recovery of Raw Materials in Florida, last July, this entity achieves positive results in correspondence with previous years.
According to information offered by William Marín Echevarría, the entity’s economics officer, during the second half of July, more than six tons were recovered, a higher figure than in the past when only approximately four tons were acquired.
So far in August, higher levels of raw materials have also recovered, compared to previous periods where the payment thereof was lower than the current one established since July 17.
In the city of Florida there are three units in charge of the Recovery of Raw Materials for those people interested in the service, which also extends to the schools, neighborhoods and rural communities of this Camagüey municipality.
