Florida, Aug 16.- The improvement plan of the Family Physician and Nurse Program advances in the municipality, but demands greater participation of the social actors together with the Public Health system to exhibit greater results in the shortest possible time.
Among the main components of the task, the structural rehabilitation of the premises destined to the performance of the Basic Health Team in neighborhoods and communities stands out, a process that in the course of this year implemented improvements in office 32, of Las Pérez Pérez, and in the 34, from the southern settlement of La Porfuerza.
However, there are still a considerable number of medical facilities in Florida in neighborhoods with constructive repair needs and running water demands, among others, whose solution requires work from the Public Health departments, but also support from sponsors and the Government in the different constituencies and popular councils of the territory.
The Family Doctor and Nurse Program arose 40 years ago as the guiding idea of the historic leader of the Cuban Revolution, Fidel Castro Ruz, and is sustained to date, in the midst of a broad plan of measures that seeks to improve its operation with the objective of increasing the effectiveness of the office and increasing the satisfaction of patients and the rest of the population that surrounds it
