Florida concluded debate on issues proposed to the II National Conference of the Party

Florida, Aug 7.- The partisan militancy of the municipality of Florida successfully concluded the consultation process of the Project of the Documents to be evaluated in the Second National Conference of the Communist Party of Cuba, a debate that was joined by prominent workers, administrative leaders and members of the youth vanguard.

The execution of the 290 planned meetings allowed the Municipal Bureau of the Party and its work structures to reach each grassroots organization to discuss the political-ideological actions of the nuclei in compliance with the ideas, concepts and guidelines of the VIII Congress.

The debates also made it possible to evaluate compliance with the guidelines of the Economic and Social Policy of the Party and the Revolution, and of the National Plan for Cuban Economic Development until the year 2030.

During the exchange, described as fruitful by the highest political authority in the territory, hundreds of proposals and criteria were accepted aimed at enriching the document under consultation and offering solutions to the different problems reflected in its content, from the point of view of the internal functioning of the Party and its leading role, and in the socioeconomic actions of the municipality and the country.

The conclusion in Florida of the analysis process of the Draft Document to be presented at the Second National Conference of the Party had a high participation of the communist militancy in its debates, and became another example of the democracy promoted by that vanguard organization to the application of partisan and governmental policies, for the benefit of the people and the socioeconomic advancement of the Cuban nation.
