Florida, Aug 2.- Several activities are carried out by the members of the National Association of the Blind and Visually Impaired (ANCI) of Florida in this summer stage, in close ties with other local organizations, and in correspondence with the current context of the union and Of the territory.
The fundamental purpose of these recreational actions is to reach the communities due to the difficulties of the associates and the need to link the population of these places to the life of each member so that they interact with them and with the rest of the companions.
According to Emilio Sánchez Sarmiento, president of the ANCI in Florida, during the summer they manage to carry out recreational, cultural and sports activities, always with the intention of inserting their members into social life, the main purpose of this organization.
In the current month of August, blind and low vision people plan to commemorate the birth of the historic leader of the Cuban Revolution, Fidel Castro Ruz, and receive the visit of associates from the Sibanicú municipality, with whom they will share various sports, recreational and cultural activities.
