Florida, Jun 23.- The public recognition of the relatives of the athletes from the municipality of Florida who represent Cuba in the Central American and Caribbean Games in San Salvador 2023 continued this Thursday with the declaration of the home of the sprinter Yarima García Díaz, as Central American family home.
At the residence located on Ojo de Agua street, between Eugusquiza and Lambarry, authorities and sports glories in the municipality, coaches, neighbors and relatives of the young athlete who is part of the Cuban delegation met to compete in the speed tests of these regional games.
In the same way, on this day, the municipal delegation of the Institute of Sports, Physical Education and Recreation (INDER) went to the current residence of Melisa Amanda Despaigne, a Guantanamo basketball player based in Florida, to identify the home she shares with her husband as Casa Centroamericana.

This Friday, June 23, the opening date of the Central American and Caribbean Games in San Salvador, the Florida Department of Sports will also recognize the family of young Danaylis León Joseph, one of the five local athletes registered for this international sports event, as part of the Cuban Rhythmic Gymnastics team.
