Florida, Nov. 4 — Cuba’s new Labor Code establishes specific provisions to protect adolescents who, in exceptional cases, are authorized to enter the workforce.
Article 131 of the aforementioned regulation addresses the special safeguards that must be upheld in such instances, as explained by Ivet Ramírez Martín, head of the Employment Department at the Municipal Directorate of Labor and Social Security in Florida.
