Florida, August 13 – The collective of the Base Business Unit (UEB) of the Water and Sewerage Department in the municipality of Florida held a special morning event in honor of Water Resources Workers’ Day and the 99th birthday of Commander in Chief Fidel Castro Ruz.
At the event, six UEB workers received Vanguard status, and others were recognized. These men and women are dedicated and fully dedicated to the tasks assigned by the entity’s management, in order to improve the infrastructure and water supply systems for the population, despite the economic limitations facing the country.
Delminio Leiva Mendoza, current director of the Water and Sewerage Department in Florida, congratulated the workers on their day and urged them to maintain their commitment and excellence in the work they do in the region despite the adverse conditions and long workdays they undertake in emergency situations.
The event, held in honor of Water Resources Workers’ Day and the 99th birthday of the leader of the Cuban Revolution, Commander-in-Chief Fidel Castro Ruz, by the Florida Municipal Water and Sewer workers, was enlivened by professionals and amateurs from the Luis Casas Romero Cultural Center in the town.
