Florida, May 3 – Master of Science Isabel Cristina Márquez Ulloa, representative of the Ministry of Science, Technology and Environment (CITMA) in the municipality of Florida, invites children, adolescents and young people between the ages of six and 18 to participate in the Love Cuba, Love Nature Contest, in honor of the National Day for the World Environment Day, next June 5.
Among the modalities to participate are drawing, photography, poetry and short stories, all of them with themes related to the management of plastics and the progressive elimination of single-use plastics.
According to the contest rules, each participant may submit one work per modality, with title, name and surname, age, province, school grade, school and home address, and must be delivered before May 9, 2025 to the territorial delegation of CITMA located in the Educational Institution of the Pioneers Palace of the municipality.
Participants in the contest Amar Cuba, Amar la Naturaleza (Love Cuba, Love Nature), which is convened in salute to World Environment Day, will show in their works specific actions related to the prevention of plastic pollution, aimed at the protection and care from our Cuban ecosystems and landscapes, neighborhoods, communities and schools.
