Florida, Nov. 15 – The group of the Raw Materials Recovering Company of the municipality of Florida celebrated the 63rd anniversary of the constitution of this entity by Comandante Ernesto Che Guevara, on November 7, 1961.
During the activity, some 20 students from different educational levels, selected as outstanding in the delivery of recyclable articles through the program «Recuperadores del Futuro», received recognition.
The workers of the 60th Anniversary Railway Unit, a work center that contributes in an outstanding way to the company’s productivity and quality standards, also received recognition.
The tribute was extended to self-employed workers and members of the mass organizations that contribute to the territory’s recovery company with paper and cardboard waste, bronze articles, aluminum, ferrous scrap, electro-energy waste, medicine bottles and other plastic and glass containers that constitute raw material for industrial processes and exportable items.
At the Florida municipal ceremony for the 63rd anniversary of the creation of the Raw Materials Recovery Company, it was reaffirmed that, today more than ever, recycling is validated as a necessity for harmonious development and environmental sustainability, in addition to contributing to monetary and ecological savings, and to the advancement of economic programs in various spheres.
