During the meeting, which was attended by representatives of political, mass and local government organizations, together with directors of the Provincial Branch of the Cuban Beekeeping Company, diplomas of recognition were delivered to the 19 producers from the patio and from the neighboring Carlos Manuel de Céspedes affiliated with this important agricultural line, as a reward for fulfilling their collection plans for the period and for the growth registered with respect to the previous calendar.
Organizations such as the municipal secretariat of the Federation of Cuban Women, a peasant association, the Union of Young Communists, the pioneers and the Central de Trabajadores de Cuba took advantage of the event to highlight the active participation of the new pines, vanguard peasants and women in the promotion and encouragement of the lines of beekeeping in Florida.
At the same time, the Otero Base Business Unit was welcomed as the first entity in the state sector that is linked to this branch of agriculture in the territory and gratitude was offered to various entities that maintain working relationships with honey growers. local.
