In Florida, the Cuban Post Office sells digital stamps

Florida, Jun 20.- After the deficit of postage stamps for carrying out official procedures for the population, the Cuban Post Office in the municipality of Florida began the sale of digital stamps, or electronic series, as part of the alternative that is carried out throughout the country, as explained by Raudel Himelis Zayas, director of that entity in the territory.

The manager stated that, to expedite the procedures of the population, so far the sale process is only carried out for procedures in dependencies of the Ministry of the Interior, such as the request for identity card, passports and driver’s license, among others.

To acquire the stamps, citizens must appear at the Cuban Post Office of the municipality with their identification document, make the payment for it and they will be given a receipt that they will present to carry out the corresponding procedure.

Himelis Zayas said that to date the insertion of this service for the payment of the Tax on Documents in the institutions of the Ministry of Justice and Housing is pending, a matter that must be expedited in line with the process of computerization of the company that is being carried out. out across the country.
